Unfortunately, the latest update to Minecraft has caused this bug, which seems to be affecting multiple maps in the Marketplace. We have reported this issue to Minecraft and they are working on resolving this bug. In the meantime, the only workaround we’ve found for this issue is to attempt to open the world again. You may encounter this issue quite a few times before the world will load correctly, but once it does, you should be able to play this map as intended.

If you find yourself having trouble connecting to multiplayer, we suggest taking the following steps.

Ensure that all devices are on the same version of Minecraft.
If you are, try going into storage settings and deleting cached data on all devices. Then, try restarting all devices.

Sometimes, the map can take a long time to download, which can cause watchdog errors. Sometimes it can look like it’s stopped, though it hasn’t, and it can take a few minutes to connect. Sometimes, the download does stop for some reason, but you should be able to connect, though it can take a few tries.

This is likely caused by connection issues. When trying to connect to multiplayer. Your connection with the game depends on the host’s internet. If there is an unstable internet connection, this is likely the reason for not being able to connect through multiplayer.

Besides that, we don’t have any further guidance for connecting to multiplayer. This Minecraft bug can cause our team some pain when trying to connect while testing together. If you need additional help, we recommend contacting Mojang by filling out a “Contact us” form on help.minecraft.net.
